5. HEX Editing
To complete the customizing of a new mod, editing prince.exe file is a must.
Executable (.EXE files) hex editing can be through too many hex editors but XVI32 or WinHex or Cygnus Hex Editor are the best. You can change the game version, change the cheats parameter, translate the game, add some lines to the game, guards color like in 4D Prince... and too many things. For your info the game was cracked by R. Bubba Magillicutty / THG (by hex modifying).

Don't edit it.

You might see numbers and letters left, right? If you scroll down a huge bit, you see sentences in the right half. You can edit them, but be careful. If you make one mistake, you can restart everything. I recommend you, editing them with CusPoP. _________________ We have a little cat,

This probably isn't the best thread to post my question, but can someone tell me how do I create my own set of PoP1 levels without using those from the original "levels.dat" file? Because I would like to create some PoP1 levels (with RoomShaker and stuff) but I don't want to have to mess around the original levels of the game.

Before all I apologize if this is not the correct place to ask this and/or it has been asked/answered before. I just want to know how to modify the aspect of the prince itself. (I won't care about the aspect of the game for now).

How? You wanna edit the gfx? Download PR.
