Happy Thanksgiving to the people in countries that celebrate it!!

It's a day early but seeing as I likely won't be on tomorrow (I'll be stuffing my face with turkey and mashed potatoes at grandma's) thought I'd do better to post early rather then late.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and all the others who celebrate it.

I don't, in fact, but I'm happy for those who do.

Why? Laughing

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving!

Maybe you can tell with what word/s you say "Thanksgiving" in your language? That would probably interest some people.

We say "Erntedankfest" for it, we actually celebrate it, too. But I have no idea, that we ever celebrated it in our family... Confused

The structure and things are the same , although I haven't read John's post , somehow missed it . So I have changed it a bit ...

We say - " Padėkos diena " - Thank-ing day Very Happy

@Neo: Dont mind my post. Words are the same, the idea is the same, but it just happened that I posted first.

Anyway, in Romania we call it [Thanksgiving, I mean] Ziua Recunoştinţei.
