I have a problem: I play with the cracked PoP2 from this site. I made it that the time is running, but as soon as I get on the carpet or jump into the room with the horse, the cutscene is just skipped. With the carpet, I find myself at the entrance to the ruins with the cutscene music still running and when getting on the horse, the game right away moves me to the temple, where the background is black/white. Can anybody help me fixing this problem? Or do I need an uncracked version of this game. It's not bad on the gameplay itself, but it's rather frustrating not to see a cool cutscene. _________________ We have a little cat,

Well, I don't think that the cracked version, downloadable on popuw.com is missing a file or two. I'm not quite sure, but you can ask Jalal. He knows best.

btw, if any .DAT file or such is missing from the directory, POP2 .exe file would refuse to load.
same with POP1
i think its because you held on to key too long or accidently pressed on one so it skipped the cutscene.
WHAT!? You mean, that I pressed [DOWN] too long, even after prince sat on the carpet or so!?

For me the cutscenes show only on the first play-through. _________________ Planescape Torment is a great CRPG with the most beautifulsoundtrack. The Ur-Quan Masters (SC2) has great music too!
I had the same problem as you,MK a while ago.I think it's the type of crack file you are using and the version.I have another little problem with the carpet cutscene-the game lags a bit during this cutscene (don't know why). _________________

Instead of asking, why don't you simply try the uncracked versions and see for yourself? It may well be that things will remain the same, which might indicate an external problem, such as with DOSBox etc.
BTW Veke, that colour corruption problem after the horse cutscene is indeed crack-related. I already looked into this long ago. _________________ Prince of Persia - The Ultimate Collection is available here and here!
