I'm stuck at the arena...even with the new book (thank you GameStop!) I can't get through it...so far haven't even managed to take his life meter down the slightest bit in spite of standing on his shoulder and stabbing till my finger goes numb! Can anyone who's FINALLY made past this give a clue as to what to do?!? Please!! I'd like to get on with it!! |

Hi, you need to wait till your sword flashes and strike him then... just wait and time it right. Be quick |

Hi and thank you! It's encouraging to know someone has actually made it through this part. I have another question though..once I make it onto his arm and stab, the game takes over and he won't respond to directions to move in, he moves to the other shoulder and just waits to be grabbed. Is this what yours did or could I possibly have a problem with my game itself? Any help will be appreciated! |

It's the game You can't move, but don't click with the mouse either, just wait till your dagger lights up, then hit the mouse button. If you click too fast with your mouse or too late he will grab you, just wait till your dagger flashes, then strike.
Do it just like you use speed kill on an enemy. Strike once with 'E', then wait till your dagger flashes, then strike again...
And by the way: I completed the game 3 days ago |

Hi! I'm having the same problem with the gal on the platforms while being the "bad" prince. By the time I get her almost dead, I'm out of life and nowhere to get more! This is NOT as easy a game as the first one, or even the 2nd one!!! |

Okay...here we go again! I can't get Masasti (the gal on the platforms). By the time I get her down to hardly any life...whamo...I run out and there's no way to get more...or she knocks me off the platform and me without anymore recall. Does anyone out there have a hint or two or am I just slow on this one? |

What phase of the fight are you talking about? With the Prince or Dark Prince?
With the Prince I usually use wall rebound attack/angel drops to get her health down (that way she won't hit you and you'll don't have to waste any sands), and after that i get up close and personal to start that 'dagger duel', which is easily won by the prince by calmly clicking your mouse (doing it too fast causes me to lose usually, prolly because of my mouse).
When the Prince turns into the Dark Prince, you have to chase Mahasti, all the while killing the ghost that appears to collect sands (so you can't really run out of sands); just before you reach her, use slow-mo so you can reach her in time, and hit her a couple of times with any combo you have (E+E+E easiest) until she flees.
Repeat the same process a few times (4 times is usually enough) and when her health is very low you'll again lock your daggers --- repeatedly press your left mouse button (but not too fast) and you'll win. |

Thanks for your help!! I think maybe in the excitement of the moment I've been clicking the mouse too fast...your insight in not doing that may help. I had almost given up on playing the game, so I really appreciate your help! |

Yesterday I played that boss battle again and i encountered the same problem as you, actually. I think to win clicking one time per second should do the trick (at least, when playing on 'normal'; it's possible than while playing on 'hard' you have to click faster - but i don't think so).
I might have run into troubles by replaying Warrior Within, in fact : in that game there are quite a few of those locked dagger duels, and there you have to click much faster than in T2T. |

I think you've hit the nail on the head!!! I remember all those battles in Warrior Within, and yes, we DID have to click much faster! Guess we just have to learn to adjust for each game instead of relying on our "old" reflexes from previous ones. Again, I really do appreciate your help. |
