Quoting from the manual of Prince of Persia 3D:

Quote:

Dahaka's Blood:

It is doubtful that this thick yellow ichor is actually drawn from the veins of Dahaka, the three headed dragon who will break free of his mountain prison to herald the end of the world. [...]

...which is, of course, nothing like the Dahaka we meet in PoP:WW.

I'm guessing one name for two things because the Daaka in WW didn't have yellow blood either

or: Lazy Ubisoft

Or that legends change and take on their own momentum?

Yeah, i did found this earlier. I think Ubisoft just though that it's a cool name, and did their own monster.
Anyway, it would be cool that the three headed dragon would have been putted in one of POP games. And i am pretty sure that if Red Orb would have finished Prince Of Persia 3D, the Dahaka would be in the game.

Ewww! The prince drunk Dahaka blood! But the Dahaka from POP3D is the original so it's right.

wow! it's been so long since i've read that! maybe it's someone's interpretation of the dahaka, but when the prince actually met him, he was not what everyone said he was....

with legends, there ARE exaggerations.. i think UbiSoft have got away with another glitch by the skin of a sand monster's jagged teeth...

WW-Dahaka and the three-headed dragon could just be two different incarnations of the same entity, i.e. the Guardian of the Timeline.

Well, just cause it has the same name doesn't mean anything...

For example, this is what a Chimera is mythically known as, right?

But in the real world there is an animal called a Chimera that looks like this:

So yeah.... names don't mean much.
Either that or it's the same creature, just people's imaginations have interperated the legends differently, perhaps?

*tries to control the anger meena's common posts cause him*

You can't probably see Dahaka in PoP3D, this was about an item called "Dahaka's blood."

There isn't a Dahaka in Prince of Persia 3D.

Al the PoP games made by Jordan Mechner. But in 2003 the Ubisoft hepled to Jordan to make a really cool 3D PoP game.

Uhh... no. Actually it went completely the other way. Jordan Mechner was helping Ubisoft Montreal Studios to create Sands of Time.
