I am kind of stuck in the King's Road level with the two warriors. I have read the topics on this combat & have seen some posting advice to use the power to slow time. But it doesn't help. As long as I don't attack them, the time remains slow. But the moment I strike the guy with axe stuck in the ground, the time becomes normal and the guy with sword always comes and hacks me to death.
I am a stuck on this for days endlessly. To compound the problems everytime I have to give it a try, I have to do the charriot race all over again which is a bit annoying. The save point is really bad for this level. Any comments/help?

Attack the one with the sword. The one with the axe will attack ya. Escape him! Now attack him! Okay, play this 2 times, the speed kills will come. If ya can't beat the twins search YouTube walkthruoghs. _________________

Thanks Guys. I did download the completed videos to watch. One thing I observed in the video I downloaded was the after you get the axe guy to get stuck, you run as far away from him as possible so that the sword guy follows you. **THEN** you slow down time, quickly run to the axe and start hacking him. Do this 3/4 times and you get a bleak chance of speed kill.
But in the youtube video you posted, Veke, I observe there is no slowing down of time. You simply climb on him to escape the sword guy and start hitting. How do you do that? BTW I play on a PC.

As for your question,
First of all, that is not me playing. I don't use slowdown either, though. To jump over an enemy, run towards him, and press Spacebar. _________________ Planescape Torment is a great CRPG with the most beautifulsoundtrack.
The Ur-Quan Masters (SC2) has great music too!

Thanks Veke. Will try tonight and give feedback.
I had my strategies for the Arena Monster and Mahasti. I am still trying to come up with one that suits me.

Hi Vortex,
As mentioned I am still stuck in the twin warriors. I am not able to spend much time playing the game due to office work and stuff, so I think I am going to be stuck for sometime.
Meanwhile I realized something interesting, at least for myself. All through the game, I never did the "double speedkills". Particularly I am referring to the two "double speedkills", one just before vazier kills kaileena and the other near the sand gate in Lower City level. I got through them either with simple plain combat or dodging tactics. Now I am facing the consequence of that. Not having the practice of double speedkills, I am missing the speed kill in the twin warriors level.
I tried dodging the twins, thinking that I can separate them and get them, but they pounce on me in a jiffy.
They are too quick for my eye.
A double speed kill is alot like a normal speed kill, attack when the dagger turns blue, and that's pretty much it.
for the battle:
Always attack the Sword Twin, if they get you in between them, then block, and get out of it, keep doing this until you get an okay distance between the Twins, then attack the sword twin so the axe one is behind you, if he just runs up and attacks you(axe) then keep doing the above.
when you finally do it so he jumps against you, quickly roll/run away, then get back him and attack him, try to keep him between you and the sword twin, this way he wont get you.
when you have done this a while (depending on the difficulty settings, the speed kill promt should come, do it, and do what you normally do in a speed kill, click(or press if you use gamepad).
when done, the twins will scatter, leaving the axe one behind you with quite some distance, run RIGHT for the sword one now, because this is a good chance to get him without resistance from the axe twin, keep doing what you did above until the Axe twin leaps for you once more, this is the final speed kill.
Hope it helps.
what is important is to keep blocking, and attack the sword twin only when the axe twin is behind you. _________________

Thanks Guys. One observation on this particular Bosses. In most of the combat siutations you can dodge the enemies and fight them. Like run around, jump off walls and attack etc. This is what I did to defeat Mahasti. Basically go as far away from her as possible, then go towards the wall and once she approaches to attack you, bounce off the wall and hit her. It was slow, but thats how I got her.
But with twins, you try to run and get some space, they "FLY' towards you and get you in the middle and start pounding. And there are no walls around to jump nor can u jump over them.
Maybe its the controls on the PC keyboard that add to my difficulties. That is another story. Me being right handed, I am finding it extremely difficult since most of the controls are on the left side (W,A,S,D,E,R). I know I can reconfig them, but I have to handle the mouse with my right hand!
And to compound it, the save points are ugly. I have to finish the charriot race before I can attempt the twins! This level SUCKS!!
