I disagree with the rolling away when Axe is stuck in the ground. Once he's stuck, hit him once, maybe twice, then you just have to jump over him when Blade is about to slice your ass, then you can continue hacking away from the other side. Keep jumping over to the other side if Blade comes for you again.
If you time it right you're in the air long enough to miss the entire attacking combo, and sometimes Blade will even smack Axe in the face when he misses you, so that helps.

I just did this part like 10 minutes ago and I got through on the first try - but then the game glitched and I lost the sound on the following cut scene so I had to quit and do the bloody thing AGAIN. o_o

I think you misunderstood me slightly "I_Stand_Alone". My strategy was to roll away just before the axe guy is getting ready to hit you. Then give him a couple of blows & before he gets up, roll away so that you can engage the sword guy in combat. Repeat the cycle. And I fully agree with your jumping technique while hitting the axe guy while he is stuck. Thats exactly what I try to do, but of course because of bad camera views sometimes I jump right at the sword guy, losing a lot of life. Thats what I keep complaining about.

BTW Vortex, I have a different opinion between Mahasti and Klompa. Basically Mahasti requires patience and time to defeat. No challenge there. In fact when I played the game in Hard mode, I did engage in combat with Mahasti and defeated her, deviating from my hit and run scheme. She is like any other enemy except that her kick can't be blocked and takes quite an amount of life.

Actually Klompa is the only Boss which lays down proper rules and follows it. Only the camera angles spoil the fun. I can't comment on Vazier as I haven't got that far.

Well, a bit of advice and remarks from my side...
Firstly, for pop12-fan and others who are stuck at the twins. I finally managed to kill the twins yesterday and by the time I write this I have already finished the game! Seriously, after having done this there is really nothing really difficult anymore (except the Well of ancestors - if you have at least 2 or 3 life upgrades then it is not that hard but if you are without it is pretty tight in the final part...). And at least in my opinion the vizier is much easier than the twins.
My impression about the twin fight - it is hard, really hard, but I enjoyed it (and enjoyed it doing it at least 30 times before finally managing to do it...). The first advice is - block. I got into that fight with a belief that blocking is of no use against that strong opponents but then I saw that in fact still more than a half of the attacks are blockable. You will certainly come across an unblockable attack but you can still reduce the number of those hits. And actually I enjoyed this fight because it is a fight - not just a sequence of moves like the giant fight.
The other advice - don't try to do too much when the axe man is stuck - run away from the swordsman (don't keep blocking at that moment - just run away and he won't hit you) - and hit the axe man only when you have a clear chance, in other occasions let him recover - it is better hit him less times than being hit yourself - the swordsman is strong, you already know.
And maybe the most important advice - really, try to finish the chariot race without consuming any of the sand tanks - I think that you need at least three rewinds to even think of winning the fight.
But anyway, why do I even give advice? My winning was a pure luck thing and if I was to try it again, it would surely cost me a lot of attempts again. And yes, the second speed kill was an absolutely all or nothing situation - being there with just 2-3 percent of health left - and no sand credits - I just tried it - if I had missed I would be dead instantaneously - but I did it.
And the main problem of that fight (apart from the bad controls - here I agree - but you can live with it) is exactly this. You have to do the fight really well - which is most probably not every time - only to reach the possibility of the second speed kill. And even when you are there, it is still very easy to miss it - the chance is REALLY short. This makes it hard. But again, once you do it, the way is open till the very end of the game.

I am trying almost on the same lines as your advice, Suicider. I don't rewind time, only slow down if absolutely necessary So I am never out of sand tanks. Atleast till now.

I am more and more coming to believe that if I beat the twins it will be purely luck. Not by my design/plan. Finding time to try 30/40 times is an issue for me.

And the topic, seriously, is about twins - vortex. But then sometimes some relevant things are discussed about other parts of the game. I think you should allow that bit of liberty

Here's a little advice for you.
keep as much health as you can. Whenever you get hit big and you lose large health then just rewind the time.
It's good that you are never out of the sand tank. So, use it to rewind the time when you feel that you are losing quite a big portion of the health.

and Personally I feel that you dont need to slow down the time for twin warriors. Well, at least I never did that.
I used all my sand tanks just to rewind time and preserve my health.

Niraj, I was talking generally about the way I play the game. Till this point of King's Road, not once did I use rewind. Used the power to slow down time only when absolutely necessary, like fast closing doors. Never to kill enemies. Lest others think I am bragging, let me admit that my reflexes are never that good. And more importantly, when I make a mistake and die, I just throw my arms up in exasperation (My natural reflex, can't help) Embarassed . So I play the game without rewind.

Coming back to twins, I don't think slowing time has any use. Atmost it helps you runaway from both if you are sorrounded and no chance of escape. Like Fire on one side and the two twins in front of you. I did get into those situations quite often, mostly because of bad camera angles than by intent or mistake. If I lose around half the health without getting to the first speed kill, then I prefer to die and restart rather than fighting doggedly Smile .

The easiest way I feel to kill the twins is to rewind the time.
But you have to know when is the right time to rewind.
Just try it for the twins.
Rewind the time whenever you lose large healths.

again, I never slowed down time to kill them.
So, I dont know if it works.

Me neither. I just defend the swordsman. I've never use sand power,trainer...etc. Btw,at the fist time I used a lot of Recall,'cause I was nerd in the chairot race. However, now I'm a professional chairot driver I think. Now,I never use Reacell in the chairot race. Maybe I use reacall that time when the swordsman finish me. Very Happy

Trying to defeat the twins, I too have become a charriot race expert. I almost finish it the first or at most 2nd attempt. I must have played it atleast 20/30 times.

Neither do I. I tried to activate it before attacking Axe, but it automatically de-activated due to yet another bug. Rolling Eyes

The chariot race is fun at first but the steering is so bad by the end of it I want to throw my controller across the room and I'm too stressed out to fight properly when I'm thrown into the twins battle.
