Thank you, Edster! This should be enough tricks to get this topic stickied. What do you think?
Don't worry. This doesn't mean, there shall not be any more tricks posted. Just move on. _________________ We have a little cat,

Do you know this one already? I found it by myself last week.
Loose Floor: Fast and Savely
Note: Be sure that you are a carefully step from the wall. Then jump to the loose floor and directly jump forwards. Wenn you do this correctly, you don't lose a life!

You know, this one goes alternativels with shaking and as soon, as you're on your feet, press down? _________________ We have a little cat,

You can also stand under the loose floor, let it fall down and duck with standing up, right away. In the animatin, the prince stands up, the loose floor cannot hurt him. Get it? _________________ We have a little cat,

Yes, I get it. I never know this trick, also your method not. But it's also interesting offcourse, and faster... But it's in my opinion harder to perform, is'nt it?
Edit: No, I mean my method. - _________________ My website about Prince of Persia

The one, I mentioned is easier, if you mean that. _________________ We have a little cat,

Well, you might probably know more than these. And you promised me in a PM to post some more! _________________ We have a little cat,

Im not 100% sure how to do it yet, but i discovered, while playtesting a part of my levelset that when you jump from a 2 tiles high ledge, and you land in a large row of spikes, you can survive it sometimes. (you loose one life, but you dont get killed in the spikes.)
i tried it several times and one out of 5-6 times i managed to survive it. i did a running jump, but i jumped one or two tiles before the edge, not straightfrom the edge, because then you always die in the spikes.
is there anyone else who had this before and can confirm/explain it? _________________ Amateur leveldesigner |
