Ok, this is the new fix I found. It's the original EXE cracked 2006-10-13 by angel-TDw! from GameCopyWorld forums. It has been tried on a Windows XP SP2 machine up until Floating Ruins (Level 13) without any crashes. This is of course no 100% guaratee, but chances are it'll work! Do note that it was tested with a installed original copy.

You will need all the files that the game installs plus all the directories from CD2. Read the included "Instructions.nfo" for detailed info.
One other thing: PoP3D seems much more stable for me if I block it completely in my firewall. So do that along with the fix.

Hi
I've tried using your files and have passed the two places where the game use to crash. But then I finished palace 2 and see a cinematic of a woman jumping into a pool. Upon loading the next level (Palace 3) the game freezes. Any idea ??.

Yes... I might have an idea. I forgot to include some files in the fix. How about that huh? Both the links are now updated. Re-download the fix and copy it over your current install. I have played past the scenario you speak of with no crashes at all so this "fixed" fix should work. |

Good to know. Let me know if you can play the game through. I'm on Lower Dirigible 1 now and yet there has been no crashes. |

You just extract all files to the game folder. You don't put them into any folders inside the game. Just say yes to overwrite any file. |

You do need some kind of QuickTime, but the latest QuickTime Alternative will do. You don't have to use the old included version. As for the language, this is the english v1.01 cracked. I tried the korean one and it didn't work, so like you say - you will probably need the english version of the game. |

Wonder if anyone can help me. I'm at the Lower Dirigble 1 and is stuck. I'm standing on a box and have to jump to a moving platform to continue.
The Prince just jumps up, grabs and then let go of the platform. A few times he grabs the platform and I start pulling up but then he let go and jumps down. How can I continue ??. |

Found a hint in another thread. You just have to open a lot of internet windows and a lot of programs. Then the computer is slower and the jumping up and grabbing is no problem. |

There are emulators, but they do not support 3D-graphics. The game runs perfectly fine for me, all the way through as of yet. Most likely this is a bug, not a issue with the computer. I could be wrong thou.
Not to be a whine-ass, but this thread is for the new fix, not a general help thread. Please keep it relevant.
EDIT: I just finished Floating Ruins. I had 2 crashes in that level. My character got stuck on something he shouldn't stick to and the game crashed. I couldn't re-create the crashes, so I guess this was bugs, not the fix itself.
EDIT2: Finished the game. No crashes except for the ones mentioned above. This fix seem to be as genuine as I hoped. |

Hi Muyfa666
I just reached the end of Floating Ruins. When running to the creature and jumping over to the platform the game crashes to the desktop. Any idea ??. Tried 3 times. Same result.

Jump over and run past it? That level is really strange. Collision detection seem to have it's own life. _________________ Dyslexics are teaple poo. |
