comments: "SNES Levels", as the name suggests, is a SNES-to-DOS conversion of POP levels for SNES. Since SNES POP contains remixed levels of DOS POP interleaved with new ones, "SNES Levels" offers you a balanced taste of both of them.

Speaking about the conversion itself, surely Steven Fayers did a good job in recreating all SNES levels tile by tile. However, all the hard work done is vanished by the lack of proper beta-testing because half of levels are bugged. Most of bugs concern incorrect link between raise buttons and doors (Level 2, 5, 6, 8) which prevents levels to be finished; another bug in Level 12 concern the lack of a necessary tile you need to drop above a certain raise button and another weird bug that inexplicably quit the level when accessing Room 23 from the top of Room 14; to crown it all, spawn point in Level 10 is placed very closely to the end of level and Level 6 has a minor graphic glitch which results in a hole on the top of wall block.

I had to fix every bug on my own by quitting game, switching to Apoplexy and manually updating the mod package. This happened very often and was very frustrating because those bugs generally popped up in advanced part of levels after a lot of time I spent finding the correct path as the SNES level design is very mazy. Forced real-time debugging activity was not exactly my awaited reward for playing an user-made POP content.

As Doktor Headshot wrote, this mod appears to be quite buggy, unfortunately.
Someone could post a LEVELS.DAT on the Princed forum that makes all levels playable, and then I'll replace the ZIP on popot.org.
