Of course it has! Because it's older.
Let me see, if I can find downsides...
PoP1:
- game length too short for a pro
PoP2:
- enemies sometimes hard as hell
PoP3D:
- whole gameplay sometimes horrible
SoT:

- brutal?

the only point of comparison between the two trilogies is the story and SOT is way better in its story.

| The downside what I can think of in the SoT trilogy is that the camera angle is very bad sometimes. At some points in the game when you have to run straight up a wall, the angle is so bad you can easily make a wall run instead, fall and die. The camera angle in PoP3D is also bad sometimes BTW. |
