I have started the trilogy out of sequence, though prior to that I have been a big fan since, playing pop1 and then to pop2 and redorb's 3d version, though I had a few years away, I looked up the oldies and played again with dos box and loved it all over again and recently came across the new trilogy. After looking through the site I am a little confused to how they can be offered for free, but nonetheless I downloaded the warrior within, and proceded to play.
I cannot figure out why the camera angle always shifts to a position from the prince's feet to the sky, unless I run or move. Upon stopping at a ledge or from a column the camera will always orient itself at the sky. When I move, the camera is great and as I would imagine, how it was conceived from a developers stand point, it follows behind and above, facing slightly downward as I think it should. The issue the way it is though makes the game unplayable, I cannot see well, and the constant vertical motion of the camera evertime I stop and start makes me a but nauseated. After seeing a lot of the walkthroughs I noticed that it doesnt seem to do this on any other version, and it would appear to be a problem with my machine or the download or both.
I guess what I am wondering is, has anyone else encountered this?
Is this my machine? I played the demo of TTT just fine with no camera issues whatsoever, so I am well aware that this problem was not the intent of the designer. Is it the download?

I appreciate the help,
Cheers,

The camera of WW is supposed to do that . If you're having any troubles , don't move for a while , while the camera changes .
SOT has pretty much the same camera actions .

In T2T it's the best , almost always from the 3rd person view .
Oh and what level is the demo for T2T .

when I press 'x' the camera will pan down to prince but then will just as fast scroll back up to the sky, and then he is no longer visible, it makes it quite difficult to play. I can get the landscape view though it apparently zooms in too close. I have checked all over the forum and havent found another post about this, though I'm sure what is happeing in my gameplay is not normal,
Thanks for the quick reply

I think you need to put down the mouse speed. It happened to me in SoT,but the mouse speed ption can solve it.

i have only gotten as far as the crow guy, dhatka, or something like that, i can beat him to where he elevates himself to the upper level of the ramparts but getting there with the camera angle is a nightmare, jumping column to column. when i was on the beach i have tried moving the mouse to orient the view downward though it constantly resets itself to the sky.

Ah , the problem is the mouse . Make it "normal" or "inverted" in the options menu .

adjusting the sensitivity didnt work, adjusting all video setting and nothing changed.
just seems like there is an issue with my machine or my card i guess and where pop ww wants to setup the default camera angle, as i said, i can refresh with 'x' but it is only for a second, other that that i cant see where princes feet are at any other time, unless im in a fight sequence.
well thaks for the help again, i would love to play it, but i think i will just uninstall
cheers

Try changing the mouse settings , creating a new profile or re-installing the game .

so i went online and purchased the game, thinking that the issue may lie within the copy that was d/l from this site. the problem is still there, i have tried everything, aside from editing the script. i am not sure why this is happening, it feels like the zoom of the camera or the orientation is fixed toward the sky and in landscape mode it is again "zoomed" all the way in because it it also pivoted to an extreme that makes it zoom. if you move the mouse in landscape mode up or down, eventually when you get to the extreme end of the camera angle it "zooms" in. i am aware that there is no real zoom feature for the camera, that is just the cameras apparent behavior when pushed to the extremes of the 'y' axis. and in default mode it is obvious that the camera is again pulled to the extreme on the 'y' axis , thus whenever i have the prince stand, rather than run, it is oriented toward the sky. and i cannot see his position relative to the topography in the game. really sucks for avoiding spinning blades and such and waiting to time a movement when i cant see the character. it seems as though the mouse or key command for camera movement is stuck. I have tried all the features within the game, on and off, invert, etc.. i have uninstalled and re-installed several times (getting tired of the first boat sequence) i have unplugged the mouse, reboot, that didnt help and i cant find anyway to edit this. wihin the menu commands in game i have disabled all camera functions, still nothing. i think i will cut and paste this to ubisoft, incase they have heard this one before.
thanks again for the help
ill post if i find a fix
