I just came across an ad for this and it looks quite intriguing. I already have some flash drives, but I know the security on those things is pretty weak. This looks like a great alternative, albeit a little pricey.

Does anyone have one? If so, how do you like it?

well I never really understood the idea of super secure flash drives. I mean, you should only worry about that if you lose the damn thing, and these things usually don't have that much of space, so whatever is in there is not to stay there for long. Besides, I really never carried anything that important to justify the extra cash needed to get such a thing. So, for me, these things are kinda useless.

Now, if you actually need something like that, the demo shows pretty impressive stuff both performance-wise (dual channel memory? sweet!), construction-wise (that thing looks indestructible, or at least more durable than any flash drive I've seen), and security-wise (although it doesnt actually mention the key length of the encryption, and I'm not a particularly big fan of AES... and self friggin-destruct after 10 failed attempts? dude, that's like Mission Impossible stuff :p). If I really needed such a thing, one thing would really bother me: No compatibility (as it seems) with Linux. To use the damn thing you'd have to run that unlocking thing first, which looked pretty native to windows, and then the encryption works on-the-fly, when a file is requested. Not sure how platform-independent that could be. Maybe you should look it up if you intend to use it with MacOS/Linux/etc. In any case, if you *actually* need such a thing, and only use windows, and price isn't really an issue, then sure, go for it Razz

Panoramix_Miraculix: I think it works on all operating systems like Linux and Mac OS X but without all those extra features.
