Oh, my. I already hear the first ones say: "Another ridiculous topic" or: "Another topic to help mk1994, becoming a spammer" and so on... but, here it goes:

I wanna edit some files for my Princess in Danger MOD. I'm ready, now, but I have a problem: When I try to import the files back into it's folder, the progress stucks on digisnd3.dat or so...
Can somebody help me?

BTW, can you use pr also for editing PoP2? I saw, that it wanted to import a trans.dat, a genie.dat and so on... Means, some PoP2 dats. But that doesn't has anything to do with my problem.

what error did you get? try using -v to see a verbose output. Be more specific. We can't guess what is happening in your computer. I can only suggest that you import each file separately.

yes, you can, but it is in experimental mode.

I didn't get an error. It just won't continue.

Then try using -v or pasting the output.

The output is the text that the program writes to the screen.

You can specify a filename as a command-line parameter.
For example:
Code:
pr.exe -iFOLDER TITLE.DAT

This will import TITLE.DAT only, from the folder named "FOLDER".

I think you should take a look at the built-in help (pr.exe --help) and the readme file (doc\readme.txt).

Hello ! Surprised

I am much interested in discovering how to use PR

I have made the following extraction from my directory
c:\prince\title.dat using this command :

pr -x title.dat prince2 (prince2 is the directory I use for modifying the title.dat image) and it works perfecly creating a new directory with all the files ready to be changed ..

I have now a problem once the modifications are made to export back
title.dat using pr in the right directory ( i mean the c:\prince )

what is exactly the line or parameters that I have to use?

I have tried this ---> pr -m c:\prince2\title.dat c:\prince2
But each time I try that , the game works , modifications are made
but it crashes ...
Is it paint ? or do we have to use another software to change graphics ?
I have seen a topic where jalal explains that we have to use irfanview for exemple to edit the pictures , the thing is that it does not allow us to modify the graphics I mean pixel by pixel ..

Thanks in ad
