I thought I’d start one for one of my other favourite games: The Two Thrones As before, any comments or contributions greatly welcomed. Please remember to number your own entries!
Sometimes things end up strangely reversed between cutscenes and gameplay. When you face Axe & Sword, for example, the cutscene shows you facing the Sword guy, yet when gameplay starts you have to reverse the Prince’s direction to attack Sword because you start off facing Axe.
The sand–based infection travels pretty quickly up the Prince’s arm after the first couple of transformations and spreads to his back. Then it suddenly ends up only covering his arm again. I’d call it a continuity error, but you can explain it away by saying the Prince has started to fight back!
In the section where you turn platforms so Farah can leap from one to another, you can actually skip the opening cutscene where she walks onto the platform, talking about the gardens. From the sand portal below, instead of using the daggerplates, simply wallrun to your left and repeatedly jump between the two walls. You’ll end up jumping to the right at the top, and bypass the cutscene trigger. This saves a lot of time in a speedrun and doesn’t break the game.
You can avoid all sand upgrades except the one for the Eye of the Storm.
You can glitch–kill one of the guards above the EotS sand portal. He stands next to a wall when you hang from the chain. Quickly drop down, run over to him and initiate a speedkill. Now deliberately mess it up. Usually he tosses you from his back and ends up disappearing completely into the wall.
The first time you turn into the Dark Prince you can commit suicide by jumping and yet still survive! To revert back to the Prince you need to jump into some water. You do this in the game by walking onto a narrow ledge, then jumping from this into a gap in the wall. You then shimmy down it and drop into the pool below. In fact, you can avoid all this hassle by simply climbing over the railing next to the ledge and plummeting to your death. You hear the Dark Prince’s death cry, but the game ignores it and starts the cutscene with you turning back into the Prince.
If you position yourself diagonally near the start on a wall you can jump out far enough to bypass the cutscene where the Prince freezes and the camera focusses on the 1st save fountain. If you have tutorials enabled the instructions will still appear but you’ll have the ability to move freely.
You can also bypass this freeze effect at the 1st sand portal by jumping out before you reach that point while sliding down the gap between the walls.
Before you reach this wall gap, you can actually jump onto the railing itself, then head for the mountains to the left. You have to wallrun along an invisible barrier after taking a few careful steps along the railing. If you walk along the mountains you suddenly fall to your death. You can actually see the game level to your right as you fall. If you look carefully you can actually see the Vizier hiding underneath the Sand Portal! He didn’t disappear at all!
Contact with fire instantly kills a non–Boss enemy, even if they had previously taken no damage.
You cannot mistime the 1st two speedkills at all.
Fluffy_Kitten from Speed Demos Archive (the only currently registered T2T speedrunner) has found a trick he calls Super Chain. If the Dark Prince does a chain swing during an EotS slowdown, and time returns to normal as the chain pulls him into the upward part of the swing, the sudden return to normal time propels him about twice the distance forward. F_K showcased this in a YouTube video where he propelled the Dark Prince out of the level using that trick.
Only the Mahasti Boss fight features no Speedkill inputs in any way.
Only the Mahasti Boss fight requires you to use any sand powers to kill the Boss.

That's nice, there were more for WW, though, and more amusing. I want to try no. 9, but I don't understand what I'm supposed to do and where exactly. Is it where the Vizier appears and says "I am Zurvan" or "Hail to Zurvan" or something like that? _________________ Still round the corner there may wait

I’ll link you to a YouTube video. Now, when Fluffy_Kitten falls to his death, you can see the level map to the right. If you do this but turn MORE to the right (not shown on the video) you’ll see the Vizier hiding under the sand portal . And yes, it takes place after the cutscene where the Vizier has “been completely transformed!”
In the video, F_K rolls past the invisible barrier but I’ve never managed it. I always plummet to my death. I have, however, always succeeded by wallrunning to where I need to go:

15. The manual mentions collecting Sand Credits in order to BUY artwork and VIDEOS. In fact, you can't really buy them, they are automatically unlocked when you gain the requested amount. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but all videos are unlocked through finishing the game, not through Sand Credits. _________________ Planescape Torment is a great CRPG with the most beautifulsoundtrack.

Great point!
16. Linked to the above point, in the section on the FFFS (Free Form Fighting System) the manual lists ‘Grab to manning’ as one of your available moves. In fact, this move (which involves a single–handed vault plus rebound off your enemy), only appears in WW. You cannot do it at all in T2T. _________________ $_=q{$_=q{Q};s/Q/$_/;print};s/Q/$_/;print

Nice one! We’ll call that #17. I didn’t actually know that, though I should have guessed. The first time I killed the Vizier I pressed the attack button by mistake while jumping at him. The camera circled him … and still allowed me to attack him again when the dagger flashed. Nice find! _________________ $_=q{$_=q{Q};s/Q/$_/;print};s/Q/$_/;print

18. The curtain still looks cutted even though you reversed the time.
and
19. The enemy patrol won't aware of any sounds or corpes (They should've at least make Sand Guards who guarding the Sand Gates smarter...)

20.After the Twins battle Prince kills two sand monsters (in a cut-scene) and gets two sands slots filled . But when you gain the control of the prince you have the right amount of SOT as before when Prince and Farah re-united in a custscene . (Most noticable when you have no sands at all .)
21. When you toss an enemy from huge heights to their death you don't get any sands . But when Dark Prince pushes Mahasti off the roof , he absorbs the sands from Mahasti . _________________ Neogogeta

22. When you're near the walls and you throw a weapon, the weapon disappear in the wall!
23. Mahasti and the Illusions are throwing weapons for the Prince. Mahasti has defently weapons?? She has thow a weapon when we talked to Farah...she has a lot of them...
24. In the Well of Ancestors, when you have only 1 health point before the cinematic and you go through the door,so heres a cinematic. Btw,why don't the Dark Prince die during the cinematic?? _________________ "You give me power, you give me reason, will you love me? Time only knows."
