(I hope this is the right area of the forum to post this, but anyway here goes: )
After some time of thinking I have came up with a new idea, since I can't make a gfx set for prince, yet I have a near-complete sprite sheet of the SNES version of Prince, I was wondering if I could set the sprite sheet here and someone could use it to make a whole new gfx set for the prince, since I believe my PR has an error or I am doing something wrong(, I post for help yet get no responses ). I will post pieces of it one by one until they are all complete(, since as I said: near-complete, not complete). Thank you _________________
What is exactly a gfx set? does it require a special program? or a graphics editor? _________________ What is this? I was expecting Aribeth!

Uh, just requires a program called PR (prince resource) and some cut and paste skills, nothing much but learning to use PR is a small curve. http://www.princed.com.ar/ That includes the program, and a small amount of information. _________________
I'll try it out... as soon i recover from this cold... and let you know.. _________________ What is this? I was expecting Aribeth!

A few years ago i played with the notion of creating a pop1 graphic set containing snes sprites using the PR editor. I managed to import quite a few sprites, however there were a few issues concerning resolution, snes uses a native rez of 512 x 448 (if i remember correctly) and the PC version 320 x 200 interlaced, so it was abit like fitting a square peg in a round hole, but nothing some artistic improvisation can't fix. Capturing the sprites were way too time consuming without any tools to extract them directly. I've literally gone through about 50 tile-editors and NONE of them could extract the sprites directly. If anyone has a snes sprite sheet already made up or knows of a program (short of screen capturing which would interfere with my study and sanity) then it would be greatly appreciated so that i may continue my hobby.

I'm afraid of usin PR now, since once I edited the graphics and when I imported it to the game the game didn't work and all my levels were wiped out _________________ Planescape Torment is a great CRPG with the most beautifulsoundtrack.
The Ur-Quan Masters (SC2) has great music too!

Yes your right david, sorry it's been a while i just assumed.
Anyhow here's a peek at my old graphic set project. Its abit mixed up with sprites from different levels and my old personal touch to the windows, but i think its still quite effective.
@brain: Hey, that's not half bad! I hope you can get your work completed one day for all of us to enjoy... _________________ Prince of Persia - The Ultimate Collection is available here and here!

I’ve painstakingly compiled a complete sprite sheet of the guards comprised of around 80 frames and am attempting to import them. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.
