When i start the game, i wait 50 seconds like you said.
Then the red ord movie starts but after that the game crashes. 
What should i do??

Hi there,
Lately I found my original POP3D game so I tought let's play it again. When it didn't work I searched google and found this forum.
I've tried this fix along with other NO-CD cracks + compatible mode on Windows XP SP2 but I get the same error every time:
Pop3d.exe has a conflict with a file called a3d.dll and then it closes. After some research I found out that this file is created in windows/system32 when starting POP3D.
Strange to mention is that at first I got the POP3D logo when the game is going to check for the original disk but now not anymore.
I remember that I got it working on XP some years ago, but at that time I got different hardware than now.
I hope someone can help me so I don't have to install windows 98.

Finally I got the game to work, though it still won't run without a NO-CD crack.
I've got the game running by uninstalling the SPTD Driver from duplexsecure.com. This driver comes with Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools.
I've used a NO-CD crack for v1.1.
I hope this information helps other users. |

3. Copy these updated V1.01 files to your game dir.
mean that i should do im very confused
im crap with pcs and im really finding it hard looool

Thx for all the useful info here - well I tried every patch/crack there is and i cannot get it to run on my xp system - then i loaded up vista and first time with the full install and the new fix no-cd - runs perfectly.
I have a geforce 7950GT and i think it may be something to do with the Nvidia drivers - game freezes before the logo movie on xp so i thought it might be the quick time version - but even with the old version from the cd it still crashes. Vista suprisingly runs fine tho - lol usually Xp games don't work on vista. |

Hi people!
I was playing the game, finishing the Lower Dirigible Level.
But, I can't grab the moving plataform. The prince grab it and falls, like have something in front of he....but there's nothing 
It's a pitty, because I love the game. 
Someone had the same problem? My computer have WinXP....
