I voted no, I'll explain why. Firstly storywise: the story arc was brought to a close in my opinion. The prince grows from the selfious jerk in Warrior Within to a prince who cares for his people in the Two Thrones. I think they could make a spiritual successor to the trilogy but I think that the Prince and Farrah should be left alone. Then again with a game that includes time travel, anything is possible. Meaning the dagger and the hourglass could appear from some different dimension and so forth

Second the gameplay: It hasn't exactly evolved very much besides combat. With Warrior Within came a more complicated combat system and Two Thrones introduced speed kills. The platforming is pretty much the same in all three games. If they managed to improve the platforming elements then I'm all for making a new game. Assassins Creed sounds very interesting when looking at the platforming. It looks like a spiritual successor to Prince of Persia. The combat videos point in that direction too.

Actually after writing this I think a continuation would not be such a bad idea if it succeeds. I quess I'm just worried Ubisoft will screw up. If they can make a game that's better than Sands of Time in all areas then by all means Ubisoft can make as many Prince of Persia games as they want. As long they never make anything with the artistic style from Warrior Within ever again, I grimace every time I compare the game to Sands of Time. If I ever again hear the prince saying "you bitch" to a warrior woman who looks like a pixelized Xena I think I'll commit suicide. If the games would be based on the Disney movie then I'd have to say no though. On the basis of movie games almost always being horrible.

I think in SoT we can play in a fabulous word. Unfortunately the fights are hard, thats what that game isn't my favorite. The WW looks perfect, great combos, nice music, btw the WW levels someties boring...in the T2T,the levels are good, the fighting is good....etc. So I also like the fabulous, the darker and the fabulous - darker games too. Smile I like this trilogy. This is my favorite series.

For me , what they have made is legendary.
They should leave the SOT trilogy as it is and should not continue it.

Making a new prince of persia with new characters and story would be right.
